Look In The Right Place

Last week a damp patch appeared on the ceiling just under our en-suite bathroom. The patch was directly below where the shower is and it seemed logical to believe that there must be something wrong with the shower.

Investigating the cause was going to be complicated.  With under floor heating, floor boards and to top it all the bathroom had just been redecorated; there was going to be so much work not to mention the mess.  Because of this we took the decision to look to at solving the problem through other methods.

Over the next few days my hubby tried various ways to pin-point the leak.  Buckets of water passed up and down stairs, tiles were lifted and towels were placed in strategic areas around the shower base in his vein attempt to solve the mystery of where the water was coming from, all this with very little success.  The only thing that happened was that the leak simply got worst, dripping through the ceiling and creating a hole.

So the floorboards and heating were going to have to come up.

5 Steps To Creating More Time

Have you ever felt like there is never enough time? That no matter how well you think you're doing time, is never on your side?  I used to constantly find myself running late, rushing here, there and apologising for being late.  Over the years I have learnt a few thing that no matter what I do, I know I will always have enough time to get the things I want to do.

How do I do it?  Well it took a little thought and some practice but I'm finally there!  If you are anything like I was you might find what I learnt useful.

1. I realised that with every want there would always be a pay-back.  Being aware of what the payback was made it that much easier to make changes e.g. when I wanted to include some exercise in my day, I had to choose to get up an hour earlier several times a week to fit it in. What will you have to give up or put aside to make room?

Andy's Wimbledon Win - 5 Steps & Be A Winner Too.

On the edge of my seat most of the afternoon yesterday as I watch Andy Murray achieve something no other British male has achieved for 77 years. Yay!  I'm sure that there were many people before the match who were willing him to win and yet not quite believing he could. I'm so happy that he won and .
with such style to. I will admit to shedding a tear or two after that final point - how emotional was it watching - as Andy said - "try playing it!!!!"

As a coach when I see people performing to their very best I'm intrigued to understand what makes them so different. Watching Andy yesterday I feel that I have identified in him 5 simple and yet effective steps that has changed him from a runner up into a Wimbledon Champion. You can do it too, maybe not Wimbledon Champion (unless you want) but success in whatever area of life you want.

Firstly, we'll take the training and the diet he has followed as a given.

To The Moon & Back Before Tea-Time

A belief is a feeling of certainty about something that you know.  As a child you believe anything is possible.  The thought that you would not be able to do something never really enters your head.   Remember when you could fly to the moon and back and still be home for tea- time

Nothing was impossible for you as a child so what happened  to stop you believing it was?  Somehow as we grow up we un-learn the process of believing anything is possible.
